How God Reminds

It's funny how we are continuously reminded by God on His faithfulness and how magnificent He is in our life using little moments, and all we can do is smile and acknowledge the truthfulness of what He reminded us of.

Allow me to share this chess game scenario. I would also like to know what it implies to you by just looking at it through jotting down the comment section. Here's the short clip:

Okay, I'll give you a minute. Then if you can, please share how it resonated with you.

As for me, I am reminded of the King who always goes before and with me to conquer difficult situation in my life. It's like God is saying, "just take the step, I'm with you". And yes, there are supporting verses about the chess game scenario above:

Psalm 23:4: "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me."

Isaiah 41:10: "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness."

Joshua 1:9: "Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest"

I hope this reminded you of God's greatness and faithfulness too. And I would also like to reiterate that the pawn who made a checkmate to the opponent displays dependency to the King that is supporting it, without the King by its side there will no be a checkmate and the pawn is powerless. Therefore, another bible verse "John 15:5 - I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing."

And, indeed, He is greater than I.

Feel free to share your thoughts. Shalom!
